Who is Playground Posh?

Playground Posh is Rebecca and Liberty, two mums who were always on the look-out for reasonably priced, fashionable, good quality hair accessories to match their daughters bottle green school uniform.  Having not found much in the market matching that criteria they started to make their own hair accessories. 

Determined to keep things simple, they started out making beautiful hand-tied bows, clips and alice bands in bottle green and selling them to their primary school.  That quickly grew to include other “hard to get” uniform colours. 

Before long, Playground Posh was being sold at local street fairs around Maida Vale, Queen’s Park and Hampstead.  Happily these days Playground Posh has found it’s way into local boutiques, shops and school uniform companies and is even now being sold on the East Coast of the United States!  Follow our blog for more news of our journey.

From the beginning Playground Posh has been committed to giving back to the community and supports many causes close to their heart.  Along with local schools and church fundraisers, Playground Posh also supports national charities including Macmillan Cancer Support, British Red Cross and Parkinsons UK.

As Playground Posh continues to expand internationally, we maintain that our footprint be as small as possible and our choice of materials responsible and safe. We only use woven ribbon made with materials certified according to Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 and our packaging is environmentally friendly, we only use recyclable paper packaging.
